We are looking for a talented Account Manager to join our leading winter-sports tour operator and travel agent. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative, fast-paced sales team within a fast-growing luxury travel company based in a fantastic office in south-west London.
As Account Manager, you will be the first point of contact for clients. The purpose of this role is to develop and maintain a relationship with clients through focused account management. Using your sales skills and experience, you will convert enquiries into bookings making sure that agreed targets are achieved whilst maintaining the company’s high standard of unparalleled service. It’s important you are a keen skier who’s passionate about the mountains and looking for an exciting new challenge.
Wilderness Scotland is always keen to hear from guides who can demonstrate great knowledge and passion for Scotland and/or northern England. Our guiding team have all been active in the outdoors in Scotland and or northern England for many years. Some of them hold multiple NGB qualifications while others specialise in a single activity. However, we view paper qualifications as only the first step in towards becoming a Wilderness Scotland guide.
More important is the ability to demonstrate great familiarity with many areas of Scotland and/or norther England. Knowledge of Scottish/English history, culture, environment, geology and geography is also important to us. Of course, we aim to provide our clients with the best possible experience, so our guides must take pride in their work and have a natural flair for customer care and hospitality.
Wilderness Scotland is seeking guides to deliver experiential travel in Scotland for our clients. To be an experiential guide, you do not need to have an NGB qualification (but great if you do) as any such activities would be delivered in tandem with a qualified guide. You may currently hold a formal guiding qualification (such as being a Blue Badge or Green Badge guide) or you may simply have gained experience working in the sector. You will need to hold a valid first aid qualification. You will need a curious mind which thrives on seeking out interesting new experiences and encounters for our clients.

The Adventure Consultant – Custom Specialist plays a key role within the Wilderness Scotland team, designing one-off adventure holidays for clients who want a truly unique adventure experience.
This role requires an experienced sales expert with a proven track record of sales, problem-solving and outstanding customer service. The successful applicant will have experience of the various activities offered by Wilderness Scotland, as well as a good practical knowledge of the different regions of Scotland and Northern England where we operate. Using this experience you will be able to understand the client’s needs, taking them from a lead and converting them to a booking by creating a personalised itinerary which will excite potential clients and when delivered, will exceed client expectations. Working closely with the rest of the sales team, the Custom Trip Specialist handles enquiries from direct clients from across the globe.
